Rael — Diversoficando
Rael is a Brazilian rap artist who released the album "Diversoficando" in 2014, for which I had the honor of designing the artwork.
When I started studying the creation of this work, I was inspired to bring something that would better identify the artist's identity, creating a custom typography motivated by graffiti artists. I developed various versions and chose the letters that best fit, dividing the reading into syllables. Depending on the order of reading, you would have two interpretations - "RAEL" (the artist's name) or "REAL" (True). I didn't find the latter negative because it also aligns with the work's concept. I believed that incorporating a black and white photo into the typography brought an elegant visual to the album. The typography ended up becoming a logo and was even used as jewelry.
